David Gelkin is an experienced investor, mergers and acquisitions advisor, and business growth strategist with over 30 years of entrepreneurial expertise. With a strong focus on aviation, private equity, and business finance, David specialises in connecting capital with high-potential businesses, particularly those in the aviation sector seeking strategic partners for growth or exit planning.
He began his career in electronics R&D at Nokia, later founding multiple successful businesses across various industries, including data recovery, embedded systems, and M&A advisory. His deep technical background, combined with extensive experience in financial structuring, has positioned him as a trusted consultant for business owners navigating acquisitions, investments, and corporate restructuring.
David is the founder of Station Hill Capital, a business lending brokerage and M&A advisory firm that processes close to £1 million in business funding requests per month. He also leads AviationInvestor.Club, a platform designed to connect aviation entrepreneurs with private investment opportunities, focusing on flight training schools, MRO businesses, and aerospace technology.
His expertise spans financial modelling, business valuation, deal structuring, and investment strategy, with a hands-on approach to identifying, negotiating, and executing high-value transactions. Known for his strategic thinking, global investor network, and ability to drive business transformation, David plays a key role in helping businesses scale or exit successfully.
He holds various certifications in negotiation, cloud technology, and IoT, further complementing his ability to assess opportunities across technology-driven sectors. He is also a published author and speaker on topics related to business acquisitions, financial growth, and investor relations.

Jhoan Cordoba is an experienced economist and financial practitioner with expertise in public and private markets, investment analysis, and capital allocation. He has worked across multiple sectors, including natural resources (energy & mining), commodities, shipping, infrastructure, banking, fintech, and technology, covering markets in Latin America and EMEA.
He began his career as an economist in the oil & gas industry in Venezuela, followed by economic research at the Venezuelan Central Bank, before transitioning to S&P Global Platts as a Senior Price Analyst, where he specialised in commodity pricing and market intelligence. He later joined Quantvox, a private investment and proprietary trading firm, where he expanded his expertise in commodity trading and direct investments into private equity, private debt, venture capital, and M&A opportunities. In this role, he played a key part in originating, evaluating, and presenting investment opportunities to institutional investors and professional clients.
Currently, Mr. Cordoba works as an Investment Analyst and Independent Consultant, assisting investors in opportunity assessment, due diligence, and portfolio construction. His expertise includes financial modelling, valuation techniques, macroeconomic research, and investment presentations. He also possesses deep technical skills in portfolio management and asset allocation (strategic & tactical), which allow him to tailor investment strategies to investor needs effectively.
He is recognised for his analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt to diverse audiences. His proactive problem-solving approach and deep understanding of global financial markets and UK regulatory obligations further strengthen his ability to navigate complex investment landscapes.
Mr. Cordoba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Specialization in Statistics, and a Global MBA (Distinction) with a focus on Investment Banking. He has been an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) since 2020.
